It may lack the most innovative slider but don’t fret this little device has many surprises in its sleeves. The Yari has a decent 5-mega pixel camera with auto focus. But its real focus has to be its gaming functionality.

Thanks to the built in GestureTek, the new Sony Ericsson Yari can use its own camera to detect your moves and translate them into gaming moves. It can also do some wireless multiplayer games. The technology has already been introduced in Japan through its DoCoMo cellphones but it is only now that it has been readily available for worldwide use.

The design of the Sony Ericsson Yari is simple and neat that will attract many conservative users. But the hood may seem a bit obnoxious that might not appeal to many tech freaks.
