A Microsoft Arc Keyboard or the Apple Wireless Keyboard? For the looks, Apple really has got it going. As for the ergonomics, Microsoft Arc Keyboard wings it as the keyboard is curved up the center and adds relaxation for your wrist and makes it more comfortable for you to type. This also helps reduce stress.

For the tactile feedback, it would be a tie to both. For compatibility and installation, it will have to be Microsoft Arc Keyboard. All you need to do is simply plug in the USB receiver for Windows and the Arc is then detected, that’s it and installation is complete. As for the Apple Keyboard, you are required to pull up the Bluetooth menu and then select the keyboard.

So overall, I personally think Microsoft Arc Keyboard is a good buy over the Apple Wireless Keyboard. There’s more substance to it and it just feels more real. Also, as weighed out, it has more advantages. Just give it a type and see which suites you best.

Here are 4 usual errors of Xbox 360: the four LEDs are flashing red, which indicates a problem with the AV connection; LEDs 1, 3, and 4 are flashing red, which indicates a general hardware failure ; LEDs 1 and 3 are flashing red, which indicates overheating; and LED 4 is flashing red, which suggests a more specific hardware failure.

Some of the more popular errors of the Xbox 360 are easy to fix. For more complicated problems, it would be best to seek technical help. If your Xbox 360 is still under warranty, make use of this. There should be instructions that come with your console on how to contact Microsoft for assistance, and they’ll fix your console for free. To start, the LEDs on your Xbox 360 are numbered: upper left (1), upper right (2), lower left (3), and lower right (4).

The four LEDs are flashing red

This indicates a problem with the AV connection. Check if your AV cable connection is fitted properly. Try disconnecting the AV cable and reconnecting it again to your Xbox 360 console. If this does not work, disconnect your AV cable and make sure it’s clean by wiping the metal plug with a dry cloth and reconnect it again to your console. If, still, the four LEDs continue to flash red, you have to replace your AV cable.

LEDs 1, 3, and 4 are flashing red

This indicates a general hardware failure. First, try restarting the console. If the error is still present, turn off your Xbox 360 completely and unplug the power cord and the AV cable from the console, unplugging the power cord from the main power supply as well. Then, reconnect the power cords and AV cable, making sure they are firmly fitted. Turn on your Xbox 360 console. If this does not work, turn off your console again and remove the hard drive. Then turn on your console without the hard drive; if the flashes are gone, turn the console off, put the hard drive back in place, and turn the console on. All this time, even with the three lights flashing, the middle power LED should still flash green.

LEDs 1 and 3 are flashing red

This indicates overheating. Simply let your Xbox 360 cool down; this might take a couple of hours. Also, check that the console fan is working properly. In order to avoid this problem again, make sure your Xbox 360 is well ventilated. Avoid placing it in enclosed areas such as cabinets or near any source of heat such as stoves or radiators. Never think of shortening the cooling time by placing your Xbox 360 in a freezer. This will only make your problem worse as your Xbox 360 is not made for very cold temperatures.

LED 4 is flashing red

This indicates hardware failure, different than the previous general hardware failure because this is suggestive of a more specific error. Usually, the screen will display an error code that corresponds to a particular hardware problem. Consult your Xbox 360 repair guide for this error code or visit the Xbox 360 customer assistance website. If your screen displays no error code, it would be best to seek professional assistance. Your Xbox 360 should come with printed information on how to contact customer support.

Finally! A photo of the newest and latest Zune HD from Microsoft is out. CNET was also able to try out the reall thing and they were able to do a hands-on with what was said as the pre-production model. It was said to be the best Zune yet, this must have boosted up Microsoft’s confidance, after all, they did work hard to come up with something with a sleek design and elegant appearance without having to compromise the performance. The 3.3-inch OLDE display gained much attention. Crisp and bright, though the browser came short with Flash support, which made it work like that of the iPoud touch of Apple when yo talk about multitouching performance.

The sound quality of the Zune HD also gained attention and praise. It also seems that Microsoft has been fiddling around how to optimize the use of WiFi with their gadgets with more instant album art, bio info, similar artists, and all other data collection when connection is made available.

It is safe to say that we can expect more innovative and great things to come from Microsoft and its development team.

Microsoft announced last May 26 that Zune, their music and entertainment brand known to provide the ultimate digital entertainment experience, will be expanding their entertainment and music service to new markets and to a completely new platform.
Beginning this fall, Zune will be extending their video service to Xbox LIVE internationally. Simply by tying up with Xbox, the Zune brand is suddenly able to reach more than 17 million Xbox LIVE subscribers across the globe.

Asides from the collaboration between Zune and Xbox, Microsoft also announced that their launching of Zune HD to the United States this fall, the next generation of their popular portable music player.

According to Microsoft, Zune HD will be the first portable media player to have touchscreen, an HD radio receiver, HD Video out, Wi-Fi, and an Internet browser all in one gadget.
Zune HD, which Microsoft describes as “portable perfection”, is the next member of the Zune family, and aims to bring a person’s listening and viewing experience to an entirely different level.

Zune HD’s screen will be 3.3 inches and have a 16:9 OLED display, which will result in a brilliant 480×272 resolution in a widescreen format, giving Zune HD users the premium viewing experience, anywhere and at anytime.

The media player’s HD radio allows users to listen to their favorite radio stations with extremely clear reception. The HD Radio Receiver also enables users to tune into a number of HD Radio stations, at no extra cost.

Zune HD’s Video Out features will support 720p HD videos, television shows, and movies, allowing you to stock up on your favorite videos and take them with you.
This portable media player also allows users to connect to the Internet easily from Wi-Fi hot spots with Zune HD’s browser. The Internet browser allows you to visit your favorite websites using tap-to-zoom technology, as well as a touchscreen QWERTY keyboard.

Microsoft and Apple have been duking it out for years. Microsoft holds the title for pioneering the operating system through its MS-DOS, but Apple quickly developed the Mac and with it, the MAC OS X operating system. Whatever Microsoft had, Apple seemed to imitate with brilliant results. Apple matched iTunes with the Windows Media Player. They also developed Safari, a web browser much like the Internet Explorer. Apple continued to innovate products that put Microsoft to shame, and when Apple released its iPod on 2001, it seemed that Microsoft has been reduced to its operating system and its Office.

Microsoft regained its footing when they developed the Zune 30, a portable media player that had Wi-Fi and a 30GB capacity, a far cry from the first iPod, a simple contraption with a 5GB capacity. But Apple unveiled its masterpiece – the iPhone, Time Magazine’s Invention of the Year in 2007. They also released the iTouch, a touch-screen media player that looked like the iPhone, which even shared some of its fantastic features.

But now, Microsoft will release its newest product that will topple all of Apple’s gadgets. The Zune HD, Microsoft’s answer to the iTouch will be released on September 5, 2009. Like the iTouch, the player will be touch-screen, but better. It’s HD. You can watch videos in dazzling detail which you can stream to HDTVs. Its FM radio is even HD, meaning you can listen to the radio in crystal-clear reception for free. The radio gets better: you can tag songs for future reference.

With its 3.3-inch screen and vivid 16:9 OLED display (480×272 resolution), it is expected to cause a stir at Apple headquarters. Microsoft definitely paid attention – the model is slim, sleek, and sophisticated. Its capacity has yet to be confirmed, but rumors range from 16 to 32GB.

Like its previous Zune models, the Zune HD has access to Internet Explorer Mobile 6 through its Wi-Fi connectivity. Browsing has never been easier with tap-to-zoom technology, built in accelerometer, and touch-screen QWERTY keyboard. The user can browse the net or download music through the Zune Marketplace. Another unique feature is The Social, an online community that connects Zune users.

Microsoft is slowly catching up with the Apple empire with its Zune products. Although the company has said they have no plans of making a ZunePhone, Microsoft said that they want to offer its services to phones.
