VAIO delivers design fusion, vision and trends

Art of VAIO

MANILA, Philippines — The Art of VAIO was once again captured and manifested in the Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2011, where two of Sony’s latest offerings – the youthfully invigorating VAIO C and the elegant VAIO S – became the inspirations for the designers as they released new fashion aspirations for the local scene.

Vivid is the VAIO of 2011 For the start of 2011, Sony is splashing color into the personal computer landscape as it re-introduces VAIO C.  It is defined by an attractive chassis, using a light emitting material that comes in illuminating hues of orange, green, and pink, and in elegantly simple black and white.  Depending on its surroundings, the new VAIO C gives the impression of glittering and playing with light.

The 14-inch new VAIO C is a high-performing line-up giving options for an Intel Core i5 processor, or a hybrid GFX System that switches automatically depending on users’ power requirements.

Truly Mobile Remarkably Powerful

The VAIO S, firm in its positioning as a business tool, gets revitalized with the new series.Conceptualized for business travelers, the VAIO S comes in a new full-flat design, with a concealed hinge, and a beautiful magnesium hexa-shell.  Responding to the needs of constant mobility, an optionalflat, extended battery is also available for the VAIO S to give the user 12 hours of battery life.

This extended battery can be charged on its own with the use of a dedicated charger.  Just attach the extended battery when needed for longer hours of productivity. The minimalistic 13-inch looker does not sacrifice on performance, with the latest 2nd generation Intel Core i5 processor  and AMD RadeonHD 6470M GPU with 512MB VRAM.

The Art of VAIO  in brand new models

Responsive to the market’s needs and requirements, Sony is also offering more VAIO product models that set standards in mobility, design, and performance.

Aside from VAIO C, another dynamic line-up is the VAIO E, which comes in glossy colors and unique patterns.  From the college halls to the business district boardrooms, VAIO E embodies vibrancy of each person’s individuality.

Meanwhile, an 11.6-inch beauty, the VAIO Y Series is designed to be stylish and ergonomic. Its profile comes together in a convergence line, for a sleek, tapered look.  Full featured but incredibly light at less than 1.5 kg, the VAIO Y can easily be slipped inside one’s briefcase or bag, lasting up to 4 hours without charging.  The series is powered by an AMD Dual-Core Processor E-350 with AMD Radeon HD 6310 Discrete–Class Graphics, delivering an incredibly vivid and smooth HD experience, including comfortable playback of full HD video and faster internet operation.

Sony also introduces the new VAIO F series, the first ever 3D VAIO.  It brings a 16.0” full HD display enabling bright and crisp 3D images, optimized for comfortable, flicker-less viewing.    Powered by Intel Core i7 Quad core processor and NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M GPU, Sony borrows from the game changing technology of the BRAVIA and enables a frame sequential method with LED backlit control in the VAIO F.
