Android powered devices have undoubtedly become rampant so it should not be surprising to find the Android OS earning the title of being the fastest growing smartphone OS to date. The Android OS is now second to the iPhone at 24% of OS shares worldwide.
The iPhone OS is still leading for about 50% of OS systems used but considering the rate at which the Android OS is climbing, don’t be surprised to see this gap is narrowed (or even overtaken) soon.
