AOC’s 36-Green Series Monitors
AOC definitely put its name into a test. AOC’s shout out “Arts of Color”, is exemplified in their new 36-Series: LCD turns Green with their 937Sw, 2236Vw and 2436Vw monitors.
The 36 Series, especially the 2236Vw, is stunning and impressive in terms of external design. The screen is framed with a black glossy finish and the rear panel with a seashell texture making it more eco-friendly to the eyes. It sports a sensitive control keys that blends well with other anterior design giving it a sophisticated design without compromising precious space. It also comes with a USB port located at the bottom rear left of the monitor for easy accessibility to other peripheral or storage devices like camera’s, thumb drives, portable gaming consoles and media players. There is also a analog D sub and DVI-D inputs also located at the rear panel of the monitor.
The contrast ratio would be the measure of most display system. It measures the difference of the luminance of bright colors like white being the lightest and black to be the darkest color for the system capable of producing. Therefore the higher the ratio the better your monitor display will look at.
The AOC 2236Vw series has a contrast ratio of 60,000:1. Meaning, users have great detail in looking at dark regions. With a contrast ratio like that users are able to get the true meaning of picture quality. The 36 Series supports a realistic 16:9 widescreen at true full HD screen. The 36-Series by AOC is different, it is because it is the only monitor that offers power saving mode, this allows the monitor to only drain 50% of the power compared to traditional LCD monitors. It also has iBright technology meaning it reduces backlight CCFL for less power consumption keeping the environment green.
