HP Introduces the World’s First 3D PC Surface Technology
New from Dell, the world’s first 3D PC surface technology on the HP Mini by Studio Tord Boonje, and also considered to be the largest Mini notebook display on the HP Mini 311. HP unveiled the limited edition HP PSG by Studio Tord Boontje and HP Mini 311 both promises stunning new designs and features that will surely be a hit to many consumers.
The new HP Studio Tord Boontje was created in collaboration with fashionista, Vivienne Tam, this new partnership forge with renowned Dutch industrial designer Tord Boontje is the next step in creating new designs, the designers who both have a unique point in design and technology are leading the way in making HP the leader in technology.
The HP Mini by Studio Tord Boontje breaks new grounds with the industry’s first three dimensional PC surface technology, the HP Imprint 3D. This technology allows Boontje’s love of animals available in the palm rest and touchpad of the notebook. The notebook itself weighs only at 1.06 kilos and measuring just over one-inch thick. It features a 10.1-inch mercury-free LED display. The 92% keyboard makes the notebook ideal for travel.
The notebook also has built in tools including the Windows Live Writer for blogging and Seesmic for social networking, good for staying connected with family and friends.
The limited edition HP Mini by Studio Tord Boontje comes with 15 desktop wallpapers that are made exclusively for the notebook itself. It also comes with a Stardock MyColors desktop theme and custom screen saver for added customization and functionality.
The HP Mini by Studio Boontje also makes it easier for many consumers to make smarter choices in keeping the environment healthy. The packaging itself is made from 100% recycled materials. There is also a reusable microfiber protective sleeve that ships together with the HP Mini and also a PVC-free wireless mouse also made from recycled materials.
