Sony’s Killer Blu-Ray Player

Looks like Sony’s team of Blu-ray players has racked up a decent number of five star badges from many of its consumers. Aside from the affordable BDP-S360 to the more powerful BDP-S5000ES, this time around they have added another jammed packed player in the likes of the new Sony BDP-S760.
Sony’s new BDP-S760 has the rock-bottom chance to rival Panasonic’s DMP-BD80 which proved to be a tough foe when it comes to video prowess. The Sony BDP-S760 surely has a bag full of surprises in for us. To begin with, it is the first BD player to have a built-in wireless connectivity. Yes! You guess it right, it has Wi-fi connectivity and most of us would consider this functionality a godsend considering the fact if your internet connection is far away from your AV system.
Arguably though, the Sony BDP-S760’s biggest draw would be that it offers picture processing wizardry that has been reserved for Sony’s high-end Blu-ray decks. The wizard, also known as Sony’s HD Reality Enhancer, allows users to tinker with many aspects like grain and noise reduction. The Precision Cinema HD claims to produce vibrant images and sharper pictures. With Super Bit Mapping technology it helps match image depth to display quality images.
The features doesn’t stop there, Sony’s BDP-S760 is cluttered with many unique features you would always ask for. The machine can decode HD audio onboard and output over HDMI. It also has included two USB inputs to connect external devices and a headphone jack so you can plug in those tunes while listening to films in seven-channel surround sound.
Enough said, Sony has done it again. The Sony BDP-S760 has indeed boast yet another stunning Blu-ray player without burning holes in consumer’s pockets. It is truly a godsend to many of us bringing all the Sony goodness in one unique piece of machine.
