My little adventures with gadgets have allowed me to look at certain events through a different set of eyes compared to any Joe on the street. I’ll be focusing on how a little known patio heater has made my life a bit better.

If you have a big family like mine, celebrations appear whenever they want to appear. Last fall, my relatives decided to come to the house when they heard that I got a job promotion the previous day. This time, they even brought a few of their friends to the impromptu party and this presented a bit of a problem as the house is pretty small. Naturally some went to the patio to get some air, and they immediately experienced the cold, chilling wind. This caused some to grumble that my house was too small and that I didn’t even bother to install any outdoor heater. Lesson learned (even though they went there without any notice anyway).

This year, I decided to install outdoor heaters for possible visitors who want to drop by and experience the fall beauty without feeling chilly. Unfortunately no one has decided to give me a surprise party (whew). It’s their loss I say. This little gadgets have allowed me to spend afternoons on my patio while others are starting to close themselves inside the house.

Another story I had was that these outdoor heaters are plant life savers as well. I tried my hand at growing plants when one of my relatives gave me some last summer. He said that I should balance my tech life with a bit of nature life, so I tried to. But then when fall came, I noticed that my plants were getting unhealthy (people say its normal this time of the year) but I am not going to fail this early. I researched on it and found out that my plants were the type that suffered under cold weather. That’s when I decided to place them under the patio heater to help them out a bit. Lo, and behold my plants were able to recover and is now the best looking plant on my block.

Lastly, the patio heaters allowed me to do things that weren’t at all possible in chilly weather. My car’s engine went down and I decided to repair it myself. The problem was that the inside of the house would be a no-no as I knew that I would get really dirty back there. That’s when I decided to install some outside heaters inside the garage. Saved a lot on labor costs and cleaning agents on that one!

Well there it is, my Fall life with my ‘ol trusty, and extremely useful outdoor heaters.
