Android OS in HTC’s Tattoo

Well they made history and surely HTC was the first company that first utilizes the Google Android with G1. After its success with their first phone, they managed to squeeze in with the HTC Magic and HTC Hero both to have shown Google’s OS to be a real success in the mobile industry.

The first problem that would send a blaze to us consumers would be the price tag. The new HTC Tattoo sets to be priced lower than the Android option which can only be made available through Vodafone for roughly 25euro a month.

For starts HTC’s new phone may not be the best phone available in the market but it does have its own pros and cons. The first thing that you should notice about this phone would be its curved exterior that fits perfectly in your hand. Its compact enough to be thrown in your pocket without any hassle or any bulge at all. It’s so durable that I feel that the handset would be able to withstand the everyday hassle and bustle of life. I would like to throw the phone from a five feet story though to test if it’s really hard and tough.

And if you’re not a fan of the silvery black cover on most Smart phones then HTC is giving you the option to choose from a wide variety of clip-on skins with cool tattoos embedded on them. It goes to show that customization and personalization is the new thing in the world today.

The HTC magic still sports a 2.8 inch screen. It features a 3.2MP camera which performs on the average. Since it is using Google’s OS, expect to have a lot of features like there’s a twitter app, Google Maps, Calendar and Youtube.

HTC’s Tattoo is excellent and continues to bring Google Android up to its quality and performance.
