Hybrid cars made possible by Google

The internet played a big part to save the world again. One of the serious topics that have been spread throughout the planet are the effects of global warming. In some instance, hybrid vehicles can minimize the effects of global warming, or in other words, can prevent global warming. But selling a Hybrid vehicle isn’t that easy, some people would find it very frustrating and time-wasting in recharging their vehicles where in fact, they can just head down the gas station to fill up their car. Now these are some of the disadvantages on using hybrid cars, but what most of the people do not know is that these minor difficulties can make a change for the betterment of the planet.

Through the efforts of Google, they are continuing their attempt to develop a software which will be integrated into hybrid vehicles. Their aim is to guarantee “smart charging”, when hybrid vehicles plays a big part in the society.

This software will put together plug-in hybrids into the power network to help maintain a constant and even flow of electricity. The system which is still being proposed also proposes that if users agree to have their charge switched off during times of high utilization and consumption, their supplier will provide them a credit which serves as a reward for them.

Testing and examinations are also being developed to the system. One of their proposals is to let parked and unused cars to allow energy transfer into the hybrid car’s electrical grid to provide backup power. Dan Reicher, Google’s Director of Climate Change and Energy Initiatives, made a statement that “testing has been pretty intensive for the past couple of years”. This just clearly shows that the hybrid technology system is as smooth as it was being planned and that people would discover a new life ahead with these eco-friendly vehicles.
