Phenomenon of Twilight depicted in a Watch

124

Do not be deceived by its name, Twilight Watch is not a watch intended for the fans of the blockbuster movie Twilight. It is a wristwatch that fades into darkness as time goes by, then gets back into light making an impression of the cycle that we experience everyday — the transformation of light into darkness as night comes in, and the reappearance of light as another day starts.
Twilight watch is an interesting piece of clockwork that intends to remind you of the miracle of facing new sunrise everyday. This natural phenomenon is reflected in the watch with the movement of its second hand. The watch constantly changes from its lights shade to dark as the sun bids goodbye and fades away. To put it simply, the watch’s face fades form light to dark then back again every 20 seconds, as if reminding the wearer of the changes and evolution of time.

This effect is achieved through the use of two polarized disks that rotate as the second hand of the watch moves. Aside from the polarized disks, Twilight Watch features a brushed stainless steel case that measures 36 mm in diameter with a seamless connection from strap to case. The strap it boasts is made of glove-soft black leather band. Also, Twilight Watch is bears extra protection making it water resistant for up to 100 feet under water.
If you want to get one for yourself, you can do so by checking it out online as Twilight Watch is widely available now in various online marketplaces with a retail price of $120.

Twilight watch is designed by Daniel Will Harries. This is his second creation following the Reveal Watch which boasts a rotating dial in its hour hand blocking all the distracting numbers except for the time it points to.
