So you might be wondering why this camera has two obvious lenses right? Well, don’t because Fuji Film has just released this pioneering camera that is said to be first of its kind. The Fuji Fine Pix REAL 3D W1 is a camera with capabilities of capturing both images and video in 3D. Yes you heard me right, it is 3D. This innovative camera takes a stereoscopic 3D image with the help of dual lenses and sensor that captures regular 2D pictures at 10 mega pixels and combines them to create the former. Aside from the 3D capabilities of this camera, it also boats of 3x optical zoom. You can also take 3D still pictures that you can view on its wide 2.8 3D viewing screen. Fuji Film’s 3D W1 digital camera is said to be the bench mark of such product. Powered by Fine Pix REAL 3d technology, you will be assured of the system’s capability of taking high quality 3D images that is the result of a lens alignment technology, combined with the amazing resolution On the inside though, it is poweder by Real Photo Processor 3D which is considered to be one of the latest processors that allows independent image taking and alignment probable to produce such stunning 3D photos. To go with this 3D theme, Fuji Film has announced that to compliment their 3D line, they would also be releasing the REAL 3D V1, an 8 inch 3D photo frame that you can look at as much without the need of 3d glasses. No price yet for both the REAL 3D W1 and REAL 3D V1 though. No idea how images would actually look like but we still have to wait by September, the release month to find out. Interestingly unique, this is one product you should keep an eye out for.

Some of us just can’t get enough of Mario, NES and other classic games. Thanks to Nintendo, memorable titles over the years cease to die. And now, Nintendo’s new offering comes in the merging of two game classics: the many Game and Watch characters integrated in the Nintendo Mini Classics.

Nintendo Mini Classics are a series of small LCD game reissues of Game and Watch titles from the original line. Designed like a Game Boy, the unit has the usual A, B, Start and Select buttons. Each unit comes with a stand on the back and a keychain on its top left hand corner.Just like Game and Watch, these Mini Classics feature alarm clock functionality. It is currently being sold in an array of colors, varying from game to game. The selection includes Donkey Kong Jr., Mario’s Cement Factory, and Super Mario Bros.
Aside from Game and Watch reissues including Parachute, Octopus, Fire, Snoopy Tennis, Oil Panic (dual screen), Donkey Kong Jr., in dual screen and Donkey Kong Jr., Mario’s cement factory, Super Mario Bros., and Zelda Game and Watch, there are also original game titles. These include Carrera, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which is exclusive in Europe, Poker, Smurfs (two Europe exclusives), Soccer, Spider-Man, Star Trek: The Next Generation in both Single and Dual screen, Sudoku, Tetris, UEFA Euro 2008 and Yu-Gi-Oh.
Each Nintendo Mini Classics unit is powered by AG13/Button Cell/LR44 batteries which are already packaged in the mini gaming device.

Although these may not be as hi-tech as the Nintendo Wiis today, Nintendo Mini Classics are greatly addictive. Playing for minutes can turn into hours as you strive to get the highest score. Also, it is “mini” enough to be portable, making it a perfect device to kill time during your bus ride back home from office or school.

Sony’s PlayStation Eye with Face and Age Detection Features

PlayStation Eye is a webcam device developed by Sony Computer Entertainment for the video game console of PlayStation 3. This device, via its computer vision, provides games with a natural user interface as well as mixed reality video game applications. It is integrated with simple edge detection, color tracking and Digimask face mapping. Just recently, Sony announced that new and additional features will be added to PlayStation 3. According to Sony, PlayStation gamers can expect for a PLayStation Eye with improved face-recognition and gender-recognition technology.

According to Sony Europe’s head of developer services, Kish Hirani, the newly developed PlayStation Eye can detect gender, as well as the age of the face, the separate facial features of the eyes, nose, and ears. It can even detect whether you are giving out a smile or not. It can capture video up to 120 fps.
This updated and improved version of PlayStation Eye is planned to be used with the upcoming Sony Motion Controller. In this match-up, the camera tracks X, Y and Z motion by using the glowing ball. It also comes with four microphones and is integrated with two zoom levels.

Setting the additional features aside, PlayStation Eye will retain its original specifications: a USB 2.0 interface, a USB Type-A plug connector and a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels at 60 Hz and 320 x 240 pixels at 120 Hz.

Isn’t this great news for all PS3 gamers out there? This means no more status updates about your gaming mood, or additional user info with regards to age and gender as the camera already knows it. Sony’s new PlayStation Eye will be officially out in the market starting October 23 this year and is said to be retailing at $69.99. So, if you want one, there’s still a few more months to do some saving.

The Samsung Go N310 is a 10.1 inch x 7.3 inch lap top that is marketed for people who are always on the move.
