Generating water from the atmosphere
Have you heard of a water building? A building that is able to produce water? Probably you haven’t. Read on and you will know of such creation.

A concept building that promises to produce water out of air and sunlight whilst housing a coastal resort clientele has been created by a Spanish architect, Orlando de Urrutia. The concept design is now referred to as “The Water Building.” The design of the establishment is an image of a huge water droplet and if brought to actual creation, it would use state of the art Teex Micron technology. This particular technology is needed to be able to generate pure and drinkable water from the atmosphere with the utilization of solar electric power.

Aesthetic design is combined with energy-gathering photovoltaic glass, vents and other kind of advanced equipments in this futuristic project. Its design is planned specifically for humid regions. The whole concept is to build a feat of water extraction and purification. Indeed, the concept is very well thought of. Not only would salty sea and rainwater be purified but water quality would be controlled as well. This is possible by having a water treatment facility at the bottom floor of the building. Upper floors would then contain restaurants, exhibition halls, hotel, conference rooms, spa services and gyms.
The intention in creating the design concept of the Water Building is to influence the guests who would be inside the water drop establishment by showing them the advanced process of generating resources. The architect aims to model eco-sustainability in his creation and raising environmental awareness at the same time. If brought into action, the world of architecture would really undergo a major change, something that would lead to architectural advancement. Aside from that, it would also be a step closer to nurturing the environment, taking care of Mother Earth.
