If you are an avid PS3 gamer, surely you would have heard of the game Infamous. Today, it is one of the hottest games in played in PS3. Infamous is an action/adventure game which is mainly about a single player named Cole. Cole was once a regular guy who got caught in a horrific catastrophe but was able to survive and stay alive. Not only was he alive after the incident, he also gained and developed a wide array of superpowers.

Taking over the role of Cole is the main feature of the game Infamous. The player would be in control of the character, an everyday guy and an urban explorer who develops different kinds of electricity based powers. The task is to cope and adapt to the wide range of powers while trying to save the Empire City and its people. Other key game features include the different variety of superpowers which can either be good or bad; Epic Battles where the player would experience what it is like to be a true hero and take responsibility for his every action while battling against powerful iconic villains; Open Dynamic World where rich powers with reactive environment and population must be coped with while experiencing complete freedom in exploring and discovering deep and an open interactive city. The player would be asked to decide whether he wants to save or destroy the Empire City; Urban Exploration in which the player scales the cityscape in order to discover new vantage points and put into action vertical combat system. Cole’s climbing skills would be necessary to reach places other characters cannot and to open a variety of offensive and defensive combat options; Organic City Ecology in which the player watches the citizens and their reaction to the evolving players’ actions.

The game was developed by Sucker Punch Productions and was published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was just released on May 26, 2009 in North America, May 29 in Europe. It reached Australia and New Zealand on June 4, 2009 only.
