If you are a gadget freak like me, I’m glad to say there’s another one to share my burden with. I am always up to date with the hottest gadgets off the market but with the tightening economy these days, I can’t really splurge on something I might later regret on buying. A common concern, I have figured out a way to feed my techie appetite while keeping my financial situation regulated… and it’s the internet. Launched online in 1995, Amazon.com (started as an online bookstore that soon diversified) is a good chunk of my discovery. What I do is look up on their site the best selling gadgets on the market today. As I narrow my search, I read their respective specs, reviews and I especially like the part that gives links to other products that people who bought that gadget also purchased. I also enjoy the fact that they carry both brand new and used items to cater to those who can’t really spend too much. Right now, I’m currently on the fence between getting a touch mp3 player of an HD camcorder. As I am typing this, I am looking up information on the 2 on Amazon. Both on the best selling list, it’s hard to decide between the 2. It’s necessary for me to go through the details with a fine – toothed comb as I might be spending hundreds of dollars on something I might just like and not love. User comments and discussion also help me a lot as they are the voice of consumers like me. They have the same concerns as I do and are very vocal about it. Hmm, I haven’t decided which product to buy. There’s so many good stuff posted I can’t make my mind up. Hmm, looks like this is going take awhile and who’s complaining? Definitely not this tech-geek.
