HP has made another breakthrough in the market. They just launched HP Pavilion DV2, their newest 12-inch ultra-portable notebook.
HP Pavilion DV2 is equipped with a lot of features, some of which are the following :
? Processor: 1.6GHz AMD Athlon Neo 64-bit processor
? Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 3410 (256MB dedicated memory)
? Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium with SP 1 (32 bit)
? Screen: 12.1” HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1280×800)
? Memory: 3GB (up to 4GB configurable)
? Storage: 160GB HDD
? Optical Drive: External Blu-ray Drive with Double Layer Support
? Wireless and Communications: 802.11 b/g WLAN
? Battery: 4-cell Li-Ion
The DV2 has an ultra-thin design, less than 1inch thick making it weigh only 3.8 pounds. This thinness of the DV2 is made possible by its processor, the AMD Athlon Neo. It also has smooth rounded edges and a durable plastic imprint finish, thus making it comfortable to carry using your bare hands.
A good thing about this notebook is that though it is small and thin, it has numerous ports. Another advantage is that, with DV2 you can have an optional optical drive that can be a DVD Burner or a Blu-Ray and DVD Burner. This means that you only have to sacrifice one USB port when the drive is connected because the power and data are handled into one USB connection.
Truly, HP offers a great deal with their HP Pavilion DV2 ultra-portable notebook, a processor that performs well plus nice graphics, all at an affordable price.
