Classical Graphic Design Theory: The Elements of Design

While there are many different ways in which the elements of design could be classified, the most obvious classification for those elements is by the classical theory school of graphic design and that means that there are five main elements of graphic design. The first element is the line, the second is the shape, the third is the texture, the fourth is value/colour and the fifth is space. These elements combined in some form make up every single graphical design project ever constructed and understanding these five elements of graphic design will be the basis for the next posts on this blog.
